The sound meter never uploads audio

Our online sound meter processes microphone input entirely inside your browser using the Web Audio API. No audio is recorded, stored or transmitted. Microphone access is requested only when you press start and is used solely for the live on-page display.

Analytics & advertising

We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are useful, and we display advertising to fund the site. Ad and analytics providers may set cookies or use device identifiers subject to their own policies. Where required, a consent notice is shown.
